I was able to split the HDMI signal from the Directv Genie Mini, bedroom and bathroom. Of course you have to watch the same channel which is what I wanted. Crystal clear signal to both HD TV's.

Bought this product to connect a new blueray player to a legacy projector and stereo that didn't support inline sound over hdmi. Worked perfectly splitting out the sounds off the hdmi channel to the stereo.
